MLF Bass Pro Tour 2024 ROSTER

Dude in all honesty MLF and BASS both had anglers that hasn’t been in the top 50 in many years. BASS should have ditched the non performers years ago and brought in new guys. And Jordan Lee is a great angler no doubt. But that “Legend” role should have went to a real Legend. All those guys got passed up. I’m just glad Cliff pace is going back to BASS

But the bottom anglers will be out of a job. It’s a roll of the dice.

Hope you’re right Matt, I would’ve trust Dockett as far as I can throw him. I love MFL but hadn’t heard much good about Dockett.

Congratulations on last season. Im hoping cutting the roster next year wont be to big of a change. Im curious how that will effect the expo at redcrest if everyone is fishing. I sure enjoy meeting everyone there. Good luck this season.

I’ve been a fan of yours since the early days of your YouTube channel. I still like the catch, weigh, release format, especially for smallmouth tournaments in the summer. But BPT’s constant changes and convoluted tournament structure are a real turn-off, as is BPT giving rookies like Matt Stefan only a year to do well in order to keep their spot. The whole 50-anglers deal just feels sort of random and it’s going to hurt the league, especially the rookies.

The guys that left to go to the opens or other leagues made their decision it seems based on their moral compass. They sacrificed the money and the status of being on a upper level league partly because of some mismanagement of rules and inconsistency in the enforcement. I commend them for putting their money where their mouth is. If more guys did that maybe some things would actually change.

I think some of these guys just want to punch a ticket to the classic. I mean who hasn't thought about fishing the classic and rolling up to the stage in your boat? Others just might be ready for a change and there is nothing wrong with that.
I am excited for next season and seeing some familiar faces from the invitational. Gonna be an interesting year with a target painted on the back of your jersey.

I think it's more about the inconsistency and uncertainty of the BPT that drove those guys another direction. Just seems like a s@#$ show on BPT from what I've seen and heard the anglers talk about. Sounds like several others are looking to jump ship if the opportunity comes around.
