Missouri Ozark Smallmouth Bass Fishing – Spring 2026

It was a beautiful spring day for a float trip on a Missouri stream. The water was still dropping from a significant rain about a week prior, so it was higher than I preferred. But I still managed to find some decent smallmouth bass. At one great looking spot I saw several bass following behind one I had hooked, and was able to catch a few of them over the next few minutes from the same area.
