Join me on this recent kayak adventure into a hidden lake in northern Minnesota! This small lake almost NEVER has any one else on it. It is a beautiful spot for some peace and quiet away from everything, and oh yeah! It has some awesome fishing!

On this trip, it was my goal to catch some trout, as well as fish for largemouth bass, in hopes of finding a decent sized one. In the past, this lake has produced great trout, and plentiful amounts of TINY large mouth bass. But it was my mission to see if they had maybe grown a bit this summer…

In this video I was able to fish three brand new lakes, and catch fish on each one! The first part of this video I was able to talk to some friendly trout fisherman and learn more about this lake. I caught fish after fish that morning, but all were pretty small.
I was able to accidentally catch a trout on my ned rig. The fish was beautiful and put up a hefty fight. Wish my camera had been rolling!
After the kayak session, we took the boat out on two other smaller lakes around the area in northern MN, and were able to catch a few on each of those as well, including the 3.5lb at the end!
