Sweet boat
Hey im curious what's is the width of your boat? Is it a 1236 or bigger?
Been going through your videos and I must say well worth watching. As for your boat. It works and that's what matters. I had a 1973 14/48 monark and I wish I never got rid of it. It had a 1953 Evinrude 35. Never could get to run right so I slapped my buddies 6hp Evinrude and off we went.
By the way where are you guys fishing. What state?

Those Evinrude's are Good motors; I had a 1955 7.5hp and a 1956 15hp on my 12 ft. Jon Boat before I sold it and Both motors ran Great; Both motors always started on the 1st or 2nd pull of the rope. By the way, that boat would look nice if put a fresh coat of paint on it, It is a nice little set up you got going there, I like the fabrications you made to it.

Great video….as usual ….love the boat, mine is a 14.5, its 54 inches wide at stern and 42 at bow….love it too got it used back in 1985…lol……I rebuild the inside about every 3 years but its wood not aluminum like yours…that was smart…..you might want to consider moving your fire extinquisher away from right next to gas tank and motor as it might be a challenge to get to it with a motor fire, just a thought……also…why keep the fish and release at boat ramp instead of where they were caught on a prefish trip like this? thanks for sharing your trips with us i really enjoy…wish you would post more…..you have taught this ol guy a lot and your editing is right on sir. I would love for you to hook up with you tuber Haights Wanderings in the upper pennisula of Michigan..he is about your age and you remind me of him….he also catches a lot of awesome fish….have a great day and thanks again.
