Sutton Lake is a Power Plant Lake located in #wilmington #northcarolina. It is a 1,100 acre reservior adjacent to the #capefear river. It is known to produce quality largemouth bass. Early morning, the Bass were stageing along the channel in 15-30 feet of watter. After throwing multiple #baits I landed a 3 pound 8 oz #bass on a Black Ruby Zoom Trick Worm. A few cast later landed a 4 pounder! I ran with that pattern the rest of the day, targeting isolated fish on stumps. Ended the day with best 5 weighing 14 pounds. #fishing #bassfishing #lakefishing
