Massasecum Lake Bass Fishing With A Big Swimbait – Bruce Gillis Wooden Wake Gill

Bass Fishing with big Swimbaits is my absolute favorite way to fish! I’ve had people ask me why I fish them so much at night in particular and not as much during the day. That’s just because I prefer a lot of things about night fishing. No wind, no people, nice temps (in the summer) and a great top water experience almost guaranteed.

On this day at Massasecum Lake in New Hampshire, I decided to fish nothing but my cedar wake gill; Bruce Gillis.
All bites came on Bruce and though I got nothing huge I did get a good amount of bites while I was out there and I will be trying a “wake only” daytime bite again.

I had some paint adhesion issues so ignore the paint just flying right off. I’m in the process of rectifying the issue.
