  1. You brought up fly fishing. I dated a gal that got interested in it years ago because she got tired of fishing on my boat. She was more the Ralph Lauren type with the rustic fishing lodge taste. Orvis opened up a fly fishing store way too close to my house which I would have protested if I knew before hand they were putting one in there. I walked in and was waiting on them to run a credit check to see if we should even be there.LOL Well, after spending an ungodly amount of money she was set.So I thought. Then she had to have pro lessons from these guy's that knew what they were doing. I didn't know crap about fly fishing and didn't want to learn,I just rolled my eyes. Then come the fly fishing group trips and seminar's from Oklahoma,Arkansas and Missouri. I was sure glad I broke up with her! But she did look good in the $500 waders and cute little vest. On another note, hows negotiations going on the restaurant?

  2. The lake I love being on,is Trinity lake, west of Redding ca,very cold water, massive pine trees and amazing small mouth bass,my largest was 6lbs,a friend caught an 8-3,when you mentioned top water Trinity lake fish came to mind, the fish fly out of the water, so amazing to see.

  3. What you describe regarding Bass fishing is certainly an art form, but with all the technology they are using today, the new age anglers have lost sight of that. It's a shame! What you so well described is exactly why I fish. Thanks for reminding me.
