  1. Haven't throw the Daingerous but I'll tell you what dangerous is. Dangerous is paying $15 for a Mag Draft and having to worry about the quality. Used to be one of my favorite baits but lately I've have the eye tie wiring harness pull completely out after 4 or 5 fish. Really infuriating is the poor quality of the magnet and it's shoddy placement. New out of the package some are impossible to get the magnet to pick up the hook. Poor placement and weak magnets. You have the stab it with the third barb starting with the first cast. How long do you think that will last before it tears it up too much to even stab? Great bait when magnet works like they used to.

  2. I always put a few drops of clear CA or super glue on my soft swimbates. Owning a few Huddleston's made me find a way to keep the eyes. They're bad for losing eyes on th first trip, too.

  3. I have several Mag Drafts from 6” to 10” – my issue is the magnet inside the pre-rig constantly come out. Anyone have that problem? Is the answer really to slightly straighten a hook on the treble?

  4. The tail shape is different, 6 inch Magdraft have a little more point in them even compared to the other sizes of magdrafts. I think had it not been a GOOGAN company and the guy that made the Magdraft famous knocking it off there would be less negative chatter about it. And I am not a googan fan.

The new Cull Shad can be reeled faster than the one speed as well. And I just take a sharpie and color the eye holes in with black or red when they fall out. But I dont think it matters that much.

  5. I have magdraft and freestyle and 6”-7” daingerous swimbaits. Personally I like the daingerous swimbait a little better for the simple fact you can burn it. They’re all great.

  6. Haven’t watched yet but I’ve been using both in Michigan the last month (37-39 degree water and the MB has done some huge damage! Threw them both on a 3/8 jighead. I feel there’s definitely too much tail kick on the BM for the cold temps so I’ll keep it in the rotation as the water warms. Also, I never use wt ewg hooks. Get a 3/8 -1/2 oz swimjig remove the skirt keep or remove the weed gaurd depending on cover. I caught 39 bass on one freestyle last Sunday and never lost an eye, had to put some glue around the shank but that’s about it!
