Question? Which rod would you use with the 12 inch worm? I have a St croix legend tournament 7'1 Med Hvy. Maybe it's me, but I feel like it's tip isn't soft enough? I was jig fishing with too tight drag and almost broke my wrist on a big fish last night.

Sometimes, for some strange reason, the bass will hit heavy line faster than lighter line under 20 lb test. 30 lb test worked wonders for me, just saying.
