Can YouTube help me become a better fisherman? In this episode I am fishing with a Live Target Smelt Jerkbait. I received this lure in an exchange from Keifers Reel Planet Bass and its getting the job done. The prespawn largemouth bass are starting to move shallow again after a week long cold snap. I manage to catch 4 or 5 buck bass that are exploring this shallow bay on Old Hickory Lake. I also manage to lose a couple of young bass at shore. I sure hope the larger females move up soon! Consider throwing a jerkbait this spring. The young buck largemouth bass can’t resist this Live Target Jerkbait. I hope the big girls like it too.
