This Unexpected Bass Fishing FAIL is brought to you by the Lew’s Speed Stick! I am surprised by these results. So I am out there fishing a plastic worm and having a realistic day. I catch a couple of small bass and then it happens… I go to set the hook on a bite and “tink”! That’s the sound of your Lews Speed Stick when the top 6 inches snaps off for no apparent reason. Luckily I have a back-up fishing rod in the car and I can continue fishing. I go on to catch a nice bass on the H2O Express rod after the Lew’s failure. This unexpected bass fishing fail is enough lower my opinion of the Lew’s Speed Stick, unfortunately.
