Legit My Best Solo Fishing Day Ever! | Smallies on BIG Glides
What started as a quick solo kayak fishing trip turned into legitimately one of the best days of smallmouth fishing I’ve ever experienced!
With only a few hours of daylight, I headed out on Ohio’s Great Miami River chasing fall smallmouth bass. I decided to throw my 7-inch York Glide Bait (Million Dollar Mullet) in hopes of finding a big river smallie. What happened next was unreal.
Aggressive strikes, giant smallmouth, fish following fish, and some absolutely incredible glide bait action! I mixed in a jig and swimbait along the way, but those BIG glides stole the show.
There’s nothing quite like exploring a river alone, figuring out the bite, and having one of those days you’ll never forget.
Thanks for coming along!
Tim
