A spinnerbait is one of the best baits for bass no matter when or where! In this bass fishing tips video I break down a spinnerbait trick I learned a long time ago after missing a bunch of bites. This small change can put twice as many bites in the boat!

Good info. I found the same thing happening at times. Muddy water bass will strike at highly reflective blades a lot. Copper has a muted flash and works well at those times.
Is it silver/color blade for sunny days and gold for cloudy/overcast?
One of the biggest spots I ever caught was on a 1/2 ounce spinnerbait. I was reeling it and feeling the drag/vibration of the willow blades then suddenly I didn't feel that drag/vibration so I set the hook and hooked that bass under it's mouth. The fish got the blades and the hook's orientation was able to get her. 4.8lb spot on Lake Lanier Georgia…man that was a fun catch!
Great little tip buddy. I had that happen before but didn't make that connection. With the heavy wind and chop this past weekend we had decent success with the contrasting colors. My brother had a bass drop his britches and spank his black and blue skirt. Translation..buddy hung onto his bait long enough to shake free and take my brother's skirt. Yeah I said it
I never have seen them eat blades but have had them suck in the whole damn thing and spit it it out twice in front of my very eyes. I could fill what was going on but couldn't tell it was Bass doing this to my spinner bait
Great video!!! Thanks for those great tips on the spinnerbaits!!!!! Stay Safe & God Bless!!! 🤠👍
note to self, …..add treble hook to spinner blade…LOL, thanks Rudd
