i heard two weeks ago, blue fin tuna was at fire island like near the bridge where you fish. anyone hook it and land on shore will be sickkk
Ha! I caught that same fish on the same diamond jig/teaser rig on probably the same SS beach earlier this week. My only fish of the day and the only one I managed to get into over a couple of trips. The only other guy who I saw hook up that day was also throwing a diamond jig. I’m done with the SS outings for the season, not worth the gas and tolls now.
I think it depends on the location, I see a fellow Youtuber out east who really kills it trip in and trip out, he's been getting crazy beach blitz action at his feet, fish in a barrel….Just can never tell where he's exactly fishing….
When is Striper "Out of Season"? Dec 15th or 31st? What are you looking at to replace your two year waders? LOL Now what's on the hook menu, until it's too cold to fish?
I'm already rinsing out my lures and tackle trays of salt and sand. Can't wait for the next fishing season.
