I just rescued a largemouth bass! But did I do the right thing? When I arrived at my fishing spot this morning, I discovered a bass tied up on a string. The string was tied to a ratchet strap on one end and the fish’s mouth on the other. I suspect it was there for a while, and there was no one around. So I let it go. I hope I did the right thing. After that I got to fishing with a jerkbait, and gulp minnows. I couldn’t catch anymore bass but I did catch some bluegill. If you found a fish tied up and no one was around, would you let it go? #fishing #realistic

I’d have done the same thing.
Another great video Alex. There are ethics in fishing.KIR
Nice move on releasing that bass. I noticed its tail was messed up, maybe a turtle had been going after it since it couldn’t get away.
Looks like turtles eat part of the tail.
I have neighbor(s) who sometimes leave their lines in the pond unattended for long periods of time. I always pull them out when I see it. No one has said anything to me yet.
No doubt that was the right thing. There are people who fish, then there's fishermen…..people who fish suk and give us all a bad name. Fishermen always do the right thing.
To the rescue! Keep it Realistic!
Thanks for keeping it realistic And releasing that bass… Those bluegill just kept getting bigger and bigger!
As always KIR!
You did the right thing although you may have ruined so cheatin' a-hole's tournament. If so, even better. I see no other reason to have a nice bass staked out like that.
Hi Alex it's been awhile since I watched your videos. Nice to see you hit 100k👍
There's an old concept, not heard much anymore, called Karma. Ya' did the proper thing…tight lines. God bless.
You did the right thing my man!!
Thanks Alex, What dumbass would have done that.
Relesing the bass was the right move. Well done!
Bass aren't typical pets, no need to keep them on a leash ha ha Be free little buddy.
that way way cool swim free fushy grow and become a trophy we will catch you again and take a picture and send you home
That's great karma. Glad some trasher didn't get to enjoy that bass.
Absolutely 100% Alex You did the right thing 👍
You 100% did the right thing. I will not have fish stuck to become turtle food. I've emptied a few stringers too because I was the only one at the damn park. If you want to eat them then take them, if not then release them. Period.
Right thing to do. Save a fish. 🚨NEVER LEAVE A FISHING LINES OR STRINGERS UNATTENDED. Thumbs up video Alex!
That water is low.
Went fishing today. Two bites on nightcrawers and that w
Went fishing today. Two bites on night crawlers and that was it.🙂
You definitely did the right thing, Alex! Some people nowadays have no class nor care for others and it sucks that we have to see and deal with that kind of crap!
Glad to see some class Alex 👍 keep it realistic
100% did the right thing. That was so trashy and cruel by whomever did that to it. And the way they had it tied on was just sickening.
People need to take their catches home if they are going to keep them(if legal size as applicable). Completely senseless letting a fish struggle and suffer like that.
Great job Alex.
That looks like a tournament cheater bass .
No bass caught today but i did manage to catch 6 bluegill , biggest an 8 incher on worms . Tried out my new Ugly stik dock runner rod with pre spooled reel i picked up for under 20 bucks today.
Hey Alex. Glad you found the bass and let him go. Might end up someone’s nice size PB one day. Thanks for the video you caught some pretty bluegill. KIR.
Awesome awesome job my friend Alex 🙏❤
Definitely would have done the same thing for sure
Nice fish man, I'm at a point where I'm putting fishing on hiatus until spring or maybe try trout fishing later on in the winter, either way good fish. 👍
I mean it was keeper side at least but why would they leave it? If I keep fish I don’t need bc of death or rules I just give them away to someone I find
You did the right thing
What kind of nutjob leaves a Bass on a stringer and leaves? Booze? Drugs?
What was up with that bass on a stringer? That was some bullsh*t. Good on you Alex for the rescue!
the right choice Alex pep are idiots i once found a fish trap same scenario just left in the water no telling for how long it was there and did same as you
Good work, humans are the worst species.. that fish was real skinny, I wonder how long the poor thing was on a leash.
Yes do right thing Alex❤❤❤❤❤❤
