Bass, catfish, blue gill, carp, walleye, all these you can find in all the canals. Love the video, we used to go fishing all the time in Canutillo area. In the river under the bridge with a chair and some beer. I love El Paso.

Great first and second fish. Too bad they likely died within a few days after wiping it's slime coat off.
A few years back, I established Bass El Paso ( A Bass Club for serious anglers who believe in catch and release) for the sake of preserving the limited areas capable of sustaining Large Mouth Bass in the surrounding area. The upper valley became an extreme challenge with industrialization and fishing without respect to the environment. I lost that battle and bass are no more. Bass El Paso is on facebook , but is no longer active as a club. if you care to check it out. I still love the sport but I haven' t done any bass fishing because I don't know my way around the lower valley, Can someone provide me with some info? Thank you.
