Great job…I noticed something that could work against you.. you pull your lure out of the mouth of the fish while the net is hanging over the side of the boat, then hold the fish at the edge or over the water…those big fish shake a little…back in the water they go..I would hate to see that happen..just net the fish…put the net between your feet…get the lure out and then the fish…easy peezy!!! Great job though!!!

Thanks Kristine, for taking us on your First Day at Caddo. That lake is like the one by my house, as it's loaded-up with trees and stumps (but F&G has drained it for the NEST 5 years, so it won't have any "Real" Bass for years to come…!).
(I'm trying to find out how everyone did down there at Caddo, as one of my fishing Buddies (Garret Morgan) was supposed to fish it, but haven't heard back from him…!)
Love your channel, great stuff. One thing I noticed though, your hook setting is terrible, that's why you're losing so many fish, girl. Don't rush it, get in position for the hook set and let them have it!
Just curious, why didnβt you fish the Bass Open ? You might have said something so I could have missed it ! Are you going to fish some Opens next season? How is your new boat ? Are you getting better with it ?

You got this young lady….. it's unfortunate than last two or three didn't help……. but that is what you call Bass Fishing and that's why we love to hate it… I believe we get addicted to the feeling of that line stretching…… and then when it stretches on an 8 10 12 15 plus pound large head…. I don't care what anyone says that's one of the greatest feelings in the world… you remember back when you caught that 16 and 1/2 Pond large head what kind of feeling was that young lady? you loved it! Good luck be waiting for the next post..
Young lady I believe there's a 24 inch up in there…. I'm hoping you pull up in there and catch 2. 24 in plus large head… you then crush and win the tournament…… and at the same time you turn around and kill everyone's chance and hope at getting AOY… you can do it, we believe in you….. honestly you don't need that bass her Young lady.. you just need to get really really really really really really familiar with two or three of these open lakes…. I mean familiar so you know just about where every odd stomp is crazy humping grass, Paul Rock sitting around…… I mean you're so familiar with it you can navigate it with your eyes closed or blindfolded and run that Lake and bang them out all day long…. get your own boot store up into one of them opens and Crush every fisherman there… firmly and thoroughly believe at that point…… g would be like no I'm not picking these tournaments with you anymore and getting my backside handed to meππ€©π€ you can do it you can do it..

Fishing around stumps like that out of the yak is new for me and itβs kind of sketchy when you canβt see the ones right below the water. You make it look easy. Good stuff
