Hi Joe. Loved the video! I live on the Gold Coast as well and really enjoy targeting some fish on lures in the estuaries and canals. My fav is definitely the QLD classic – a big Dusky Flathead. Keep up the videos mate, upload again soon!

Im from perth so i love the flatties, bream and silver trevally. I just a session in thailand tho and caught two mangrove jack for my first time. Love the video once again
My favourite fish I’ve caught on lures is a 110kg black marlin caught offshore Gold Coast
Jacks around the canals and estuaries for the feeling when they hit, I quite like Aussie bass too for the effort to lure them out and satisfaction when you get them. And i actually quite like fishing for Darts out at the beach & seaway… fun fish

Hey mate, favourite fish to catch on a Lure is a flathead. New to lure fishing and I've only caught 1 fish on a Lure and it was a fatty.

Jacks or trevs
Used to fish this spot heaps when I lived in the area. Really good fishing top water super early in the morning around 4-5 am and in the afternoons for jacks…caught my PB of 53cm in the same system near that spot. Caught some jewies as well but they are quite a bit rarer around there. Good vid bro and keep it up.
