Lake Toho Bass Fishing the BIG WORM 2022

We’re at Lake Toho and we’re fishing the BIG Worm, which is my 8″ Pippin8’r trick worm from CPF Lures. It’s early summer 2022. Water levels are low and heating up. This is one of my favorite times of the year to fish Lake Toho and the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes. I’m catching most of my fish offshore. Early morning shell beds, followed by submerged hydrilla and brush piles after that. Occasionally, I can get them to hit some topwater and lipless crank baits, but slow dragging that big trick worm has been my best all around pattern. On this day, I took a dad and two recent high school graduate anglers from S. Louisiana. We boated 30 Florida Bass, with the best five weighing in at about 19 lbs. Not a bad day.
