Lake St. Clair Smallmouth Bass Fishing 5-23-2024

today we are back on Lake St. Clair for another fishing adventure with Joe, from Live 2 Fish. We start our day by launching from the Crocker boat launch, and decide to pass up the crowd, and head down to the GP yacht club for our first stop. The action started right away, with fish follow us to the boat. The tube and Jerk bait were the only baits that seemed to interest the fish. We moved around to the north side of the GPYC, and the action was nowhere near what the south side provided. I did catch a Moster drum though. Next, we moved to the mile roads, around the 9-mile tower, and found some fish, but nothing like the GPYC. The last stop we made, was around the 11-mile road range, and I picked up the biggest fish of the day.

Make sure you check out the ONO Custom Lure Craft website below for the all the great baits for sale.

  1. Great day out there man! Can’t wait to share the underwater footage. I’ve got so much I’ve been reviewing and editing it’s insane…

Those slo-mo shots were🔥! That drum net fiasco was funnier the second time around.😂🤣

No upgrades for the tourney yet, but there’s plenty of time. Excellent video my friend!👊💥🎣
