I was able to fish Lake Perris for a couple hours on Thursday March 26, 2026. Fished from 7am until about 9am. Landed 5 and lost 6, probably due to setting the hook too soon. Many other bites in between. My go to bait before the sun hits the water is a texas rigged Zoom worm in watermelon magic. After the sun came up I switched to a Zman green pumpkin. First fish I landed was the biggest at 2.34LBS..
