Lake of the Ozarks Bass Fishing – 27 Feb 2026 | Fishing report and GoPro 360 Max 2 Test
Today was all shot on the new GoPro 360 Max2 camera. Not too bad of a camera. Just takes a little more editing skills.
Also just updated the Lowrance electronics with the 26.1 update. Got rid of the ghost tree on the FFS. But it now has a small triangle ghost. Not impressed.
We fishing a cove next to the 54 Bridge. The wind was blowing straight into the cove and the water was stained. I started off with the A-Rig, then crank bait, then spinnerbait but the Megabass Vision ONETEN +1 – GP Pro Blue landed the first fish for me. Billy was throwing a bunch of baits but his first fish came on a Megabass Vision Pro Blue (not a +1). The smaller jerk bait caught the biggest bass and more of them. Also caught a catfish. The Megabass was the bait of the day!
We went to the back of the cove and came out hitting the ramp and docks by the marina. Nothing on that side.
We then moved to Watson Hollow Cove and the wind picked up some. And it was blowing right onto the points on the south side. You can see for the locations where we caught fish the windblow banks and points worked to produce the most fish. It was out best day so far this year.
Water almost got up to 50 degrees and looking at the forecast, it should continue to warm up. Also I expect he water to get pretty muddy with the rainfall forecast for next week.
