In today’s video, I visit Crayne’s Landing on Lake Murray for some Fall November kayak bass fishing. The plan for the day is to launch and blind fish the area, and my replacement transducer will arrive by the time you see this video. My buddy @ChevyBarfieldOutdoors joins me out there. I have never landed a fish on the A-Rig so that was the goal. I hit it within 10 minutes of the kayak hitting the water. After that, I worked on trying to find where the fish were depth and structure-wise. It wasn’t a very successful day, but three basses were landed, one missed, and a respectable Pike came into the kayak.
As I learn more about the A-Rig, I will share my experiences, but I fully believe having a sonar to locate schooling bass will help unlock the skill more.
