My buddy Franco and I took my jon boat to Lake Garcia on 1/14 right after a cold front went through and there was another one right behind it. It was a chilly day in the upper 50s/low 60s with a 10-15mph North wind which made it horrible for fishing, but we planned this trip all week. We managed to get quite a few dinks and got rained on for a while before heading in.
I got one small one on topwater early but I was mostly using a jackhammer chatterbait with a strike king rage craw as a trailer, and Zoom speed worms with 1/8oz bullet weights.
