Conditions are difficult because of the water clarity. Id recommend night fishing if possible. We’ve been mostly throwing dropshots and topwater (shower blow 77’s). When times get tough we’ll stop and get a shiner or two and drift them and drink a beer. Its slow action but you cant keep us off the lake. If you’re gung-ho and want to be on the lake midday, go deep, finesse and slow.

Great content and info, was just wondering if you ever fish the somerset end of the lake/river? I've heard that's more largemouth and some smallmouth, I'm coming down with the wife in late may for a few days and didn't want to run all the way to the dam end of the lake. We're staying at the end of the lake toward somerset. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
