First tournament of the year was once again on CDA. I finally feel like I’m starting to learn this lake and I’m getting to a level I can compete. The small mouth are big out here but in the spring it seems like you need some largemouth to have a chance. I thought I could get some Largemouth day one but the area I wanted to fish was crowded so we stuck to small mouth. We had a great bag the first day but still in the middle of the pack. Day two we came up with a different plan and it worked out well.
