Lake Chickamauga was ranked the #2 Bass lake in the United States. That’s what drove me to move from Auburn, Alabama to Tennessee to explore this beautiful bass fishing lake. Follow along my journey as I attempt to catch trophy bass, hone my craft, entertain, and share my learning experiences.
My favorite baits right now are Chatterbait, Alabama rig (A-Rig), Crankbait, Jerkbait, Shaky Head, Frogs. These will probably change as we start to approach Prespawn and Spawn.
Favorite Equipment: Shimano Curado, Duckett rods, Nitro Boats, Mercury Motors, Toyota Trucks, Go pro.

What weight was the jig head ????
Man I already know what was bleeped out lol, and yes fish tales is the spot
Hey man great videos. I’m new to the area and was wondering if you could recommend decent baits to throw from the bank starting now. I drive through Harrison bay every day so I’ll be in that area.
Where did you get that swim bait in 6" size? I have many 5s, would like to find some that size.
Good info on that swim bait
I like you bleeping language it’s pretty bleeping funny 😂
Nice video 👍🏻
Great discussion on swimbaiting. It's all about the nuances! BIg thumbs up!
Kyle I fish that super clear water, land of the small mouth! Thanks for not putting it out there. Looking forward to the next video.
Thanks for the vids. I was down on Chick in Late March for 3 days and had a TOUGH time hooking up with the 53-54 degree water temps and water 6 ft below summer levels. So much of the good areas were just too shallow to get into. Looking forward to making another trip down in May to drown some more lures…lol.
Good vid bro!!!! I couldn’t catch a cold Saturday on chick.
I fished smith mountain lake all weekend…could not find hardly any fish…water temp 49 low side to 55 upper…clear
Does Matt want to go pro one day?
How do you always out fish every1 in your boat even when throwing the damn same baits lol
You’re doing a great job with these vids! Keep’em coming!
thanks for the tutorial. I will give that bait a try. thanks again
Another great video! Thanks for the breakdown at the end, that is really helpful.
What good video friend
What is the water temp down there?
Informative video Buddy. Great job 👍🏻
NIce, the tips you gave us at the end are key. I'm not sure if I really pay attention to line size and hook size to get the best action as you've discussed. Can you tell me why at the beginning you talked about using a crankbait in dirty water and the swim bait in clear water? I'm just trying to figure out the different uses of each bait and when, where and why to use each. Thanks man and keep 'em coming.
How come you don’t use braid to a fluorocarbon leader for Swimbaits?
Nice thanks for showing and advice.
Another good one!
