Liking your videos. I remember running into you a couple years ago on the bird. I remember seeing those monster baits you were throwing and thinking that guy seriously is fishing woth those. Then I started catching some of the fish out of the bird and seeing the big ones that live there. I'm making my own swimbaits now, and am waiting on a patent to get finalized. I hope to run into you someday out there, I would like to get your take on my lures.

When you are dipping the rod tip during your retrieve, is that acting as a pull / twitch to turn the bait, or is it dropping slack to allow the bait to glide?

I started baitcasting for a month or so now, big swimbaits specifically. Haven't caught anything yet. Knowing that it's normal to have slumps gives me hope
