Kyoya Fujita wins the 2023 Dakota Lithium Bassmaster Elite at Lake Champlain in Plattsburgh, NY with 86 pounds, 12 ounces. Fujita beats Justin Atkins by a 1-pound, 6-ounce margin.

    My favourite angler.
    He's humble, quiet and knows how to fish tenaciously and is always going to be a threat to the OLD BOYS CLUB from here on in.
    Coming from a foreign country leaving family behind and not knowing English, doesn't know the lakes, it's depths, contours, baitfish, weather.
    But Fujita is doing AMAZING !
    Let's see SWINDLE and PALNIUK move to Japan for a year and compete against their anglers to see how well they would do. NOT!
    I loved how Kyoya honoured his sponsors and BASSMASTER as well.
    A TRUE CHAMP.
