Keitech Swing Impact Swimbait For Spring Walleye Fishing

#keitech #walleye #swimbait

Today I picked up a pack of Keitech swing impact 3.5″ swimbaits and decided to do a review video. I put them to the test the day before the walleye season closed here in NY. I caught a lot of walleye using the keitech lure. I haven’t used this lure before and I was amazed by how effective it was. I caught approximately 20-25 walleye in the span of about 2 hours using the keitech. I highly recommend this lure! Spring walleye action is starting to pick up!

  1. Ive played with these in my pool with underwater cam.  By "dragging" the rod tip up the lure DRAGS across the bottom rather than lifting off and falling.  Try a quick 1-2 foot "snap up" to get that lure up off the bottom, hold tip up on slack line allows it to fall and get that tail thumping.  Obviously youre having luck, so something to try is all.

  2. We might need to start calling you the Walleye Whisperer. Those are some pretty cool looking swim baits. Curtis from Rattletrap Fishing has been using the same setup for large mouth bass down here in Florida. Stay safe my friend!

  3. My dude! Of course you do know once the season opens and you can keep them they’ll go deep lol. Nice average size Jag! That’s swimbaits for you. I kill it with just about any swimbait. Keitech has great action in its body!

  4. Awesome video and great footage! Walleye fishing is some of my favorite and this year has been some of the best walleye fishing for me as seen in my vids. I really enjoyed this and keep up the great work 👊🏼
