As i am getting more involved in local tournament fishing i would really like to know about the types of clothing you guys wear during your typical fishing season??? Do you "Layer"??? Do you wear a Wet Suit ???

Hello IF,
I am looking into getting into boat fishing and was looking into getting either a kayak or canoe. I had a few questions I was hoping you could help me out with.
I was hoping you could tell me the pros and cons of either or maybe mention it in a future video. Also maybe discuss pros and cons of sit-in vs sit-on kayaks for fishing.
I have two models that I am thinking about getting and would appreciate it if you could weight in! (I am a college student on a budget so I am not really wanting to spend more than $500 on a boat.)

I was also thinking about later rigging it with a fish finder and maybe even a trolling motor (especially for the canoe).

this is awesome i just personally like the bass boat tournys better, but as a kayaker myself i think kayak tourneys are cool because you dont need to buy a 45,000$ boat!
Nick, Do you have any experience with the Kayak they sell at Bass Pro in Manteca? The Ascend? I Want a rig thats smaller than my boat but not a float tube…Any suggestions?

I only compete in fly fishing tournaments here in Australia, but it is as much about the fishing as it is about the people in it.
It's a shame we don't have the same competition culture here as you do there.
