Great video.Jeff. i've been sitting back watching these tournament since the rule change and find it funny that its not the same ppl always winning (Hint Hint ) But i also find it funny that rules don't apply to all ppl have seen it brushed under the rug to many times because of there name and you know the onces i'm talking about and that my friend is BS. And fyi buddy i still paddle and never felt left behind even when ppl looked at me and laughed for paddling. Its old school guys like us that built this sport most have no clue what we had to go through back in the day and alot of ppl messed it up with there bs
I was a whitewater paddler first, and am now fish out of a kayak. I would prefer non-motorized as a solid line to designate kayaks from boat tournaments. I'm cool with local clubs allowing motors or whatever, but i think actual "big league" kayak fishing should be man powered. Or allow portaging to help equal the playing field for those you can't afford, or don't want to have motors.
Most kayak fishermen started with kayaks without pedals and electric motor. We just realized that it’s more fun and less hassle if you have pedals or a silent electric motor, especially for our handicapped veterans.
I got a 6hp 4 stroke on my nucanoe unlimited. Whats the deal with electric only. Lame.
Just curious, at what point does a kayak become a "boat"
