Kayak Bass Fishing – Hobie BOS – Caddo Lake – Day 1

Day 1 of fishing the Hobie BOS event on Lake Caddo in East Texas. Weather conditions were fairly warm with a strong south wind. The spots I found in practice didn’t hold up to all the fishing pressure of 205 kayakers and 2 different bass boat tournaments going on.

I ended up having to peddle a number of miles to some new water and finally was able to put together a limit.
