Finally, after an almost 5 month hiatus the jon boat tournaments are back for the remainder of the season. We have 5 events left and the fall classic, hopefully we can get a few big bags in there before the end!

I really want to get into Jon boat tournaments, any tips?
Taking my dad to FH tomorrow and renting a boat. My pops just got out of the hospital so it’ll be a good time. How do you put in so early I thought that place doesn’t open till eight?

That first rod has the coolest sounding cast I've heard
When they jump…give them a little slack, and you want lose it. Also, your very noisy. You have to be really quiet. And remember, in hot weather…fish shallow in the shade.
You have a lot to learn.
Just being quiet would improve your catch tripled at least…man, you were loud. Poor fisherman.

You know what I don't understand? Why does your tourney club have a 6 fish limit instead of 5? Most of those Jon boats have home-made live wells which are not best for the fish. Putting 5 fish in live wells already puts them at risk of dying (low-risk) but instead lets put 6 fish in? Just doesn't seem right to me, anyway awesome video as always Matt!

Do you guys ever flip your fish while measuring? I only say this as it has saved me a couple of times as it does sometimes make a length difference when measuring a fish.
