I had one of them days last week I got so pissed at a snag and snapped my pole in half trying to get my lure back lol

Sounds like some of my fishing days. That cable snapping was a real pacesetter that just kept the suck coming.

Well that sucked. I've had days like that
Try using the shakeyhead on a baitcaster, or tighten your drag on the spinner reel. Often times you need the extra force to drive that hook through the plastic and into the fishes mouth. Then after the hookset, loosen the drag while fighting the fish
