  1. A problem I have is my jerkbait fouling when casting. Not sure if it's the brand of lure, the way I'm casting, the leader I'm using,… too many variables! Also, does scent play a role? You mentioned using a sharpie to color a lure darker but wouldn't that make it taste bad to the fish?
