  1. Putting this chemical on an artificial lure that convinces fish much more frequently to bite the lure is no different than baiting a deer hunting field with corn. More technology that is ruining the. Legitimacy of catching fish.

  2. Through Tackle Warehouse try "smelly jelly" a pink jar that I use. The bass love it. i have used it for years. It really stinks to the smell. but the bass love it. Look it up, you won't be sorry.

  3. Been using Pautzke fire gel up north here…were running salmon at the moment but you can smear it on the back of a spoon or spinner or on a jig head and fish it all week and you can still smell it

  4. It looks like Chum & rub from the early eighties it was in rub on tube like chapstick. You could get it in Shad and crawfish flavored with or without glitter great stuff wish they still made it was wax base and would stay on till you wipe it off.

  5. It’s a 504 area code for Todd that’s right here by me in southeast Louisiana I’m going to have to check into this one !!! If you the one who sent it to Randy let me know please 🙏🏼👍🏼👍🏼

  6. My favorite scents are Dr Juice and ProCure for the saltwater and they make freshwater versions too. They don't look like they're still on your soft plastics but you can feel and smell them for a long time. Applying every 20 minutes is plenty. Dr Juice has sex and feeding and feer pharamones miced with the bait, and some experiments show it to be the best even though it doesn't look like it stays on. When I don't use Gulp I always put Dr Juice or ProCure on my soft plastics. They absolutely make a big difference. When little tail biters don't pick at my lure I add scent and they start again. Sometimes it's too good and they trash the bait before it catches a decent fish. I don't see why it would be so different for bass.

  7. All this scent crap should be banned. There is zero skill in using scented lures. The slippery slope will eventually be scented lures will be better than live bait and catch virtually every bass that swims. At least Livescope takes skill to use when it comes to setup, interpreting data, foot control, and being able to cast lures at moving fish and getting said lure to actually intercept fish at depth.

  8. I only use Smelly Jelly, crawfish flavor…stays on your bait really well and works for me…The Shad and baitfish Smelly Jelly seem to attract to many Pickerel. I put it on all my soft plastics even when I'm panfishing…

  9. Like someone here said, I too have been using Thump Gel. Seems to be almost identical to this stuff. They have thump gel, trailer gel, one for hard plastic, and a few others. I swear by it.

  10. Randy, something to try is open a bag of plastics like zoom an put some scent in it, seal it and lay it flat for a day or two. It soaks more deeply into the plastic. It's a trick I've done for years. Give it a try. Some baits don't have a scent, so I apply my own.

  11. That's strange randy… not that long ago you said bait fuel was amazing… a so-called secret weapon that all the pros were using and really stayed on the lures really well…now in this video you said it's gone in 1 or 2 casts.

Exactly why I do not trust sponsored videos, and tell everyone I know to ignore them.

  12. I could be wrong but that looks like a tube of Bait Pop to me…🤔 Somebody might be trolling you Randy, That stuff does work but it was designed for ffs if that is what it is…🤷

  13. I have 20 tubes of it. I started using it for crappie then I got the hardbait tubes, soft bait tubes for Texas rigs, jigs, but the stuff is incredible, stays on a crankbait for a long time.. and OMG does it make a difference on the water! I fish a lot of night tournaments and I can't tell you since I started buying this stuff what a difference it makes at getting bites at night time.. we wore them out this year with the crappie too! This stuff is amazing.. I can't believe you made a video about it a lot of people don't know about it 🤫🤫🤫🤫.. stop giving all the goodies away! 😂😂😂 no foreal this stuff is the real deal! Way better than bait fuel in my opinion.. I've been using it for a year now so I've got data to back it up!

EDIT** realize that you got a different brand, what I have is called THUMP GEL and it's made right here in Guntersville!! Check out their website THUMP GEL .COM AND LOOK AT THE DIFFERENT STYLES THEY HAVE FOR HARD BAITS AND CRAPPIE SOFT PLASTICS. stuff is the TRUTH!!!

  14. I heard a manufacturer of lures talking about scents just last week. He said that scientific studies have shown that added scents such as garlic are not necessarily an attractant for fish. But, they act more to cover up human scent, sunblock, gasoline scent, your dog, or whatever else a person touched.
