My first 300 game was in 1977 at the 72 lane center Regal Lanes in Orange, California. When It was my turn in the 10th frame almost the entire center stopped bowling to watch me. That's how rare 300 games were.

I suck at fishing, but i enjoy it. FFS helps me catch more fish on the weekends after I put in 50 hr work week. I throw all these fish back. I dont care if nobody else is using it or not. I also dont care if you think i am cheating because i use it. Why do you guys think that your purest opinion on this topic matters? Why do you think your style of fishing is more important than mine. Why are you not bashing livebait fisherman. I know a couple livebait fisherman that would make FFS look like childs play. Because that does not affect tournaments correct. Be honest about it you are not happy with FFS in tournaments. If it wasnt for tournaments you would not care or you would be making the same videos about how livebait fishing is ruining the heritage and the sport.

Someone made a remark comparing archery to fishing it's not the same in archery in competition all are not in the same category but in fishing they have FFS fishermen in with the ones that are doing it the way it's supposed to be done that is not right and you all no it isn't.

Randy the “sport of fishing” is entirely subjective. You can’t point your finger at anyone and say you’re right or wrong, only if you agree or disagree. You can start a trail right now and set the rules how you see fit, and boom the “sport of fishing” as you see it has come back to life so why don’t you do it? Or help someone else who has a similar vision as you start that trail.

On an environmental approach, again no literature has been published on FFS and its impact on black bass. Some of your biggest biologist in the industry have said they don’t expect their to be an impact due to bass harvest being extremely low due to catch and release culture.

Here’s the bottomline: these young Anglers live on the crutches of electronics. Why? Because they have NO SKILL SET for actually knowing how to fish different types of water and water conditions! These young TOMATO CANS are just relying on technology to find there fish, then basically dip them up. I’ve said it before and I will state it again: run a tournament without electronics (only a depth finder can be used) and watch them bail on it!
Technology has undermined experience, dedication, time on the water, and the craft required to catch big bass. Very disappointing to see how the sport has changed since FFS.

I've fished with ffs quite a few times and saw fish. Threw everything in the tackle box and fished each one in different ways… not a fish hit the lure. Just cause you can see them doesn't mean you're gonna catctch them.

The solution to FFS tournaments is FFS tournaments.
Eventually, even better tech will isolate the FFS obsessed further from the masses…who can't or won't afford it or to donate to tournament winners.

While you are putting your ear to the ground these smart ass punks are taking all your money because you are falling behind that’s just a fact. Every top pro has ffs on their rig some are better with it than others and the better ones are winning and the other ones are losing. Excuses don’t pay the bills!! Technology has advanced every sport, hobbie, past time. Progress in all sports, whether it's the ball in bowling, racquets and strings in tennis, club and ball technologies in golf. The equipment is always evolving. Even in fishing… rods, line, laser shaprend hooks… if fishing were pure, then we would all be on the bank with cane pole and worms… Even the boats by just having a bass boat you have taken advamtage of Technology and can by the simple fact of having a boat you can get to fish we shouldnt be able to get to…. livescope is another tool anglers have learned to use… just like they did with flasher units, to 2D, to side scan, down imaging, and 360….it was ok then so livescope isnt any different than any advancements prior…. all those prior technologies advanced fishing and the skill of the anglers using them. Simply another tool in the tacklebox… everyone can fish with it or without it, its an individual choice… it must not be as bad as an A rig because that actually got banned! 😁
