  1. I will take a guess, y'll are from California , don't mean to be disrespectful but what made Austin one of the best spots in the world has lost its character when y'all showed up.
I understand the why you wanted to move here ( it's a magical place ) but it is not what it was in the 70's, 80's, 90's and maybe even 2 or 3 years into the 21 century.
No meaning to be a ass, it just ashame to see a national treasure be uprooted!

  2. I waited all that time to see a carp…. Ugg! My parents pond has three carp in a pond over 25 years old. They literally come out of the water to take air like whales. You can see them from the other side of the pond.
Nasty animal like a catfish. I don't eat scavengers. Amythi g that feeds off crap on the bottom ain't goin in my mouth.

  3. Good show fellas. I'm from Austin. Lady Bird Lake is what flows thru town. The restaurant you fished under is Hula Hut. The dam you see there is Tom Miller dam. Below that dam is where lady bird lake begins. At Red Bud Trail. No motorboats are allowed on that water. The water you fished is Lake Austin which goes from Tom Miller dam to Mansfied dam. Fish are OK to eat on that water but Mercury levels are too high on Laby Bird Lake aka Town Lake. Around a minute and a half you guys fished across the lake from my place next door to Mary Quinlan Park. There are no homes opposite because it's a nature preserve. I've caught huge carp as well. Large channels an occasional white. The water you were on also has some gigantic blue Gill which hit full size rattletrap lures. You guys should have kept those carp because I have a good recipe for those. What you do is, you scale the fish well clean it up and gut it. Score the fish on both sides and season well. Then you wire the fish to a plank of Mesquite wood. You smoke it for about 2 to 3 hours and when it's done, you throw the fish away and eat the board! Hahaha the lake record on lady bird for stripers is about 44 lb. It was caught by a guy named Morris about 20 25 years ago. I met the guy. Your friend caught his 13.2 lb record bass near me. I saw him on Facebook I believe it was and texted him and to ask what he was using. He told me it was a Texas jig. They were fishing at night. Anyway I could talk with you guys for hours about fishing but keep it up I look for other videos but I promise I won't comment so long LOL

  4. I love pig 🐷 Patrol, that being said,I don't know why it aggravates me so much during intro/outro's that you "talk" with the hand that's holding the camera..What I mean is,you slightly snap your wrist and it causes the camera to jerk to and fro….
Weird as hell cause normally little quirks don't bother me..I'm so not trying to sound like an ass…Love all the vids from the patrol..Please keep making them..
