  1. Alright you got me down a rabbit hole searching all the zoom colors I’ve never heard of.. holy smokes.. hint hint.. is your sneaky color a version of one of the smoke colors?? I’ll DM you if necessary but I reallllly want to know what you’re hinting at. Lmao this is fantastic content btw. Draws you in.

  2. I smoke em on a redbug curly tail worm in the summer , was fishing with a guy this summer and he was outfishing me from the back of my boat with a tomato lizard, red doesn't just work in the winter and spring , another color I do well with in warm water is a yellow gold fluke, hard color to find but draws big bites

  3. My go-to color has been green pumpkin/black during the late fall and throughout the winter. Summer is a multiple choice of whites, silvers, chartreuses, oranges, PB&J's, and watermelon seeds. Early fall is darker reds and browns. Spring is dang near every color of the spectrum, to be honest. If I HAD to pick just one for the entire year, I'd have to go with chartreuse/white. 👍🇺🇸

  4. Hard to beat Watermelon Red Flake around here. A good Purple/Plum also works great. But the absolute most sneaky color out there…..Black. I think there's something about the hard contrast that Black makes.

  5. White hands down. Every small bait fish looks like a little white thing flashing around in the water.

Red works awesome also. We have a lot of clay and crawfish are reddish. There's also little hellgrammites that are bright red and mayflies are red. Redear sunfish and bluegill that have bright red going on. I've even seen actual 'dying shad' with that bloody red color to them swimming around in the summer.
