Is there room and anglers for another professional bass fishing tournament trail? The Tournament Anglers Association is looking to start a new bass fishing tournament for 200 anglers and paying back almost 100 percent of the fees to the anglers. With first place getting $300,000 dollars to the winner, the TAA might be new, but has an old school feel. They are not allowing forward facing sonar, no practice and other restrictions that could help the weekend warrior compete with some pros. Will it work?

BUT, the No Electronics could be key!
You, Steve have the advantage in your pond. Cox has never fished it. He can look the pond over assess how he thinks it will fish.
All would have to actually fish not look at a screen. I'm guessing there would be alot more fishing shallow. I like yhe idea. Go out and fun fish.
Interesting concept. Not sure it will go but itโs a cool idea.
Putting up $5000 is not like fronting up a couple of hundred dollars. I just don't see 200 people just throwing $5000 on a tournament that has no background. You never know though because I'm still blown away at how many people spend $80,000 or more on a bass boat.
I think the big difficulty will be getting the anglers to kick in with doing the leg work he wants them to do to conduct th Tx. Agree, they first need to set a hard start date and location. Call for volunteers in that local community to help to leg work.
I would need to know a lot more about it before I would put up the money, if I even had the money lol,. Thanks for sharing
$5000 is a lot of coin for your average weekend warrior! If you had disposable income itโd be fun for sure . Iโm sure there are plenty of people out there that would pony up to do it though
