Is the CRANKBAIT the king of WINTER BASS FISHING

I was invited out with a few of my fishing buddies for some winter bass fishing. It was a tough day for me as the whole morning I was trying to throw finesse lures like a shakey head and finesse jig, one of the people we were fishing with caught one on a crankbait. I decided join in and the rest was history, the fish were on a reaction bite that really heated up once the sun got out.
