Lake Fayette is a special lake found in central Texas. Like most power plant lakes the fish have the chance to feed year round with temperatures 60+ degrees even in the cold months. This makes every fish shaped like a little football and they FIGHT! This particular day was my birthday and the fish did not disappoint in putting on a performance for the occasion. I might be able to fish this lake tomorrow but i dont have a fish finder on my kayak. Do you think it will be a problem?
Unfortunately for 2023. You can only keep large mouth bass 14" to 16". There is a restriction to not keep any Large Mouth Bass between 16" – 24", on Lake Fayette County Reservoir. I troll on this lake with diving lures and constantly catch large mouth bass between 16" and 20", unfortunately you can only keep those between 14" – 16", (5) in possession. You are allowed to keep 1 in possession 24" or larger, but what are the possibilities of that happening. 😂
