Great videos. You gotta work on your landing. Maybe a net if you can't reach into some of that water. Better for the fish.
They catch everything. They’re a great lure for trout too if you ever go trout fishing.
back in 1975 i had a new zebco 202 rod and reel and the very first fish i ever caught ( 3lb large mouth) when i was 4 years old was with a 1975 rooster tail inline spinner. it is yellow with yellow feather hook and black spots and a chrome willow blade. im 50 now and since that day and my first fish. i have yet to catch anything on an inline spinner. i have tried and tried. maybe one day i will catch another one on an inline. i still have that lure and i take it to fishing tackle stores to try to match it up. they just dont make it like my old one anymore
Love them inline spinner baits my first one on the number 2

Great informative video Johnny! Appreciate the breakdown!
Hey; experimenting with different equipment and methods is part of the FUN of fishing. [you NEVER know what's gonna happen] 👍😁
i love using inline spinners and spoons
Reminds me of my first few dozen Bass back in the mid 70's. Rooster tails, Mepps, Panther Matrin! We didn't call them "inline spinners." We called them Rooster tails etc… Bill Dance Oudoors has an awesome vid of him catching toads on these lures. They make BIG Rooster Tails now-a-days by the way. Great vid man! Your name is "Topwater Johnny" & U live in Fla. Good god man. Get in touch and take me fishin!!!!! Lol!! New sub here!!
Great video bruh. What do you think would be if used in line spinners for Saltwater Fishing? I have plenty spinners but just don't when and where to use them.
I’m gonna try this lure out soon let’s see how it does I’m hyped😄
Great video, love inline spinners!
I really enjoyed the video. I live in NY State and UL reels like a Quantum XL1 with two pound test and #00 & #0 Mepps have been my trout medicine for decades, but the last few years I have been pestering river smallmouth with #1 and #2 spinners and 2000 size reels from a kayak. What a hoot. So much fun that I just got a wire bending jig to make my own. Take a fish boating!
Well I'm sittin at home watching fishing YouTube videos. An a ? Pops in my head, Why doesn't anyone ever talk about In-Line spinners? I do a search in YouTube and Right On Time Up pops You. I've got BuKu Mepps and Rooster Tails that I Never use. I think it's All soft plastics now.
Hey! Did you try the panther Martin weed runner lure?
