I don't need heat much where I am, but I did install an air conditioner on my detached 3 car garage 2 years ago. It was some of the best money I ever spent! Spending extra on beadboard to then cover with pegboard and cabinets makes little sense, though.
I picked up a couple sets of the rush creek creations rod holders (storage wall/ ceiling rack) on Amazon. Couldn’t be happier, check em out if your lookin for some

Try using an impact for screwing the screws in and a drill just to make holes. Much easier!! Looks sweet man.
