Two of the biggest Largemouth bass I personally have ever seen. This one is 13 lbs. which for a Southern State, like Texas, isn’t the biggest, but for Coeur d’ Alene Lake in Northern Idaho, I’m not sure they get bigger than this one. (We were fishing for Smallmouth) …

It looks to be 10 plus easily but I have way more respect for you that you chose to release it rather than take it in to get weighed. Most people would have chosen the fame of having a state record.

Ok people, this is the commentator on this video. I appreciate your comments but please understand, I’ve been fishing these waters for 50 years here in. Other. idaho … the video might not do it justice, but this fish is AT LEAST 12 lbs. look at the last 30 seconds of this video, when Bob is holding it up in front of his face as he lets it go… I’ve weighed HUNDREDS of 6 & 7 pounders, this ain’t my first rodeo, this bass is waaaay bigger than anything I’ve ever weighed or seen. This fish IS the Idaho state record!
May weigh 7 TOPS. Not remotely 13 lbs. Nice fish though.
