  1. I do something similar with bluegills around where I live on a $13 Bass Pro spin cast combo. It's smaller than that ice fishing rod you were using. The fish feel HUGE on those little set ups.

  2. this might be a bit off topic sorry but do all the exotic introduced fish cause any problems for the native fish in your area? I live in Australia and it's really strict over here..we aren't allowed to throw certain introduced species back in the water

  3. I love your channel and I've been watching your videos for a while now, but I'd like to know all the tackles you use, pls put them in the description ;).

P.S: Sorry for the english, I'm from Spain :s

  4. I use a 30 inch MH Ugly Stick GX2 Ice Fishing rod with an Abu Garcia Black Max size 20 reel and 15lb Power Pro + 8lb Mono leader to catch fresh water river snook and its pretty sweet! I think every fisherman should give ice fishing rod as I said I use a MH rod and when you land something like a snook on a 30 inch rod its just pure awesomeness!

  5. great video. when I moved from mich. come to Louisiana I broght a dozen ice reels and 16 or more ice rods. and shared some with friends and sold some cheap to fishermen who never used one. I lost a few dollars but the smiles were great. but I saved a few for me and I use when I'm out in a boat heavy trees and can't cast I'll use to fish over the boat right at the trees and yea small fish fill huge. so keep it up and have fun. god bless and fish on.
