I Qualified For The Classic

Last tournament of the 2026 Bassmaster Elite Series season and I rolled into the St. Lawrence River sitting 41st in points with the Classic cut on the line. Twenty mile an hour south wind, six foot rollers coming across Lake Ontario, and a choice to make: play it safe or go get bit.

I stayed out there and battled it. Nearly pulled off the spot right before a 6-7 smallmouth ate a drop shot and made the entire day. Pulled the hook out of her and the point was broken clean off.

23-08 on Day 1. Almost 26 pounds on Day 2. We finished the season inside the Classic cut. Full breakdown of how the year ended at the back of the video.

Biggest thing I learned out there: you cannot shake the drop shot. Let it sit and wait for them to decide.
