Potomac River bass fishing can be incredible when you find where the fish are positioned.

On this trip to the Potomac River, I set out to find where bass were positioned during a changing tide and put together a pattern using several different techniques. The fish ended up being grouped in specific areas, and once I found them, the action stayed steady throughout the day.

Most of my fish came on a Yo-Zuri Rattl’n Vibe lipless crankbait, but I also caught fish on a drop shot, Senko, and the Rapala CrushCity Cleanup Craw. Along the way I talk through what I was seeing.
