We had a very slow day out on the water at Westlake. The bite was off for some reason, we think it’s the water temp, which has dropped significantly. If I’m being honest, the footage is from 2 weeks ago, the water is much warmer now… Then out of no where I’m throwing a drop-shot swim bait, and get smashed by a huge fish!!! I got it closer to the boat and realized it was a freaking carp! I was low-key mad, I thought it was a huge bass. I basically snapped it off on purpose because I didn’t loosen my drag so the line would snap.
